Rin Kagamine

One would think that, as the children from a wealthy family, Rin and Len should be attending a more prestigious school. But Crossroads High and its specialized "career" courses are a big draw to a lot of students, even those from more higher class families. And this is the case for the twins. For Rin, music has been everything. So of course, it would make sense that she'd enroll into Crossroads.

Despite her upbeat nature, Rin is by far the most normal of the team, having no quirks like some of the other seemingly normal members. She strives to be reliable for her friends, a goal she makes good on often.

Even when she surrounded herself with friends, Rin could never shake off the grief from her parents' accidental death. And it didn't help that her brother shut himself away, only finally opening up after they began planning to move to Toenmedd for school. Of course, their caretakers turned their attention to Len, making sure he was okay. And Rin wanted him to be okay too but... (Well... sometimes all she wants is to be someone's top choice for something.)

Closest Relationships

As twins, Rin and Len have been with each other through all of their life. For a short while, they were the only other person the other had. Rin is always pushing for her brother to liven up, even if she does it through a little teasing sometimes.

As childhood friends, it's only a given that Miku and Rin are close to each other. When Miku moved away, it upset both Kagamines, but it upset Rin the most. That's why, when they finally find each other again in Toenmedd, she's overjoyed that Miku's relying on Rin to help her make plenty of high school memories together. Although, some things Rin can't help with... like anything horror...
